YMO was honored by being represented in a five-day Human Rights Training organized by the Human Rights Division of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, which concluded on Friday, 3 July 2026.

The training covered key areas including the fundamentals of human rights, human rights frameworks and protection mechanisms, human rights monitoring methodology and documentation. These sessions enhanced the knowledge and practical skills of human rights defenders, equipping us to better promote, protect, and advocate for the rights of our communities.

Many thanks to UNMISS (Human Rights Division) for their continued commitment to engaging Civil Society Organizations as valued partners in promoting human rights, strengthening local capacity, and fostering sustainability and local ownership. Such investments empower CSOs to play a meaningful role in advancing accountability, justice, and inclusive development.

Together, we can build communities where the rights and dignity of every individual are respected and protected.
